Stem-Cell research

Hello everyone, this is me Adam again. As some of you are aware President Bush vetoed the stem-cell research bill. Let me today explain some facts on this bill. This bill was a total waste of time and taxpayers money. Why you ask? well let me explain. There are 2 types of stem cell research out there. There is adult stem cell research, and there is embryonic stem cell research. So the next time you hear about stem cells listen to what the mainstream media is tellling you. Adult stem cell research has proven to show great results, and has cost less. The legislation President Bush vetoed was the embryonic stem cell research, this is a total and complete waste of time and taxpayer money. Two reasons why this is a waste of money: #1- embryonic stem cell research has not produced any results. So far, we have seen no cures for diseases, unlike in adult stem cell research we have seen phenomenal results in cures for diseases. #2- If stem cell research is such a money making business as the "powers that be" say it is. Why aren't billionaires like Warren Buffett, Bill Gates.etc... investing in this research with their own money. Why? I will tell you why. Because they know it is a complete and utter failure, and if it fails financially whose taxes went up to pay it? yours and mine. So when you hear about stem cell research don't blame any particular person. Just remember taxes have to come from somewhere, and our government says "if this research fails, who cares will raise everyones taxes next year". This is Adam signing out thanks for reading. Bye.
